Gondella News Solar energy for a sustainable future: a leap towards energy independence
More independence in the event of any energy shortage and reduced CO2 emissions: we’re actively making steps forward in greening our production processes.
Early 2023, we commissioned a solar panel installation on the 6,000m² roof of our production facilities in Česká Skalice. The installation is part of our sustainability initiatives in which the company is investing.This project for the use of renewable sources was also made possible with financial support from the European Union.
At the end of last year, the solar panel project was completed at our Czech site, specifically the installation of solar panels on the roof of our production hall. With its significant surface area, this new photovoltaic installation will generate approximately 405 kWp of energy, which translates to about 410 MWh per year.
This marks the beginning of a significant shift towards sustainable energy use in our facilities!
